I teamed up with another designer to tackle the task of rebranding Seattle Refined. Refined started out as an online magazine which quickly grew and launched a TV show in June 2015. The demographic switched from an older, higher income audience to a younger millennial crowd taking a more active role in their city.
The challenge was to design for multiple platforms which included tv, web and mobile as well as design for other cities for the expanding brand. The result was a more modern logo that has the ability to adapt to various cities and their unique style. I also designed media kits for the sales teams setting the tone and design standards for the brand. By collaborating with the digital sales manager and the managing editor we were able to write and design a successful selling tool for the sales teams.
This was a fun project that required a quick turnaround for the sales team. I was excited to take on the task to redesign the logo for this well loved annual women’s show, which was celebrating its 30 year mark. The team wanted to rebrand with a fresher, more modern and fashion forward feel in order to appeal to a wider demographic. In addition to designing the logo, I also designed and led efforts for the sales team’s presentation and sales media kit, all within a week. Simultaneously I was art directing the event’s website with another designer from my team. Also included in the deliverables was a 5’x2’ banner I designed to add to their promotional efforts. Despite this project needing an incredibly fast turnaround, it was one I had a lot of fun doing and the end results were highly successful and the event was a huge hit!
The client's goal was to inspire people to donate to cancer research, but previous creative wasn't generating desired results. I pitched a new direction to Huntsman with brighter, more inspiring imagery and copy. The client was extremely happy with the new look!

KOMO Newsradio was honored with becoming the official station for the University of Washington Huskies. I designed the ad for the football team's Gameday magazine and program schedule. For basketball season, I designed and shot the imagery for the program.
Drive Safe is a national campaign to stop distracted driving that all Sinclair Broadcast stations can partake in and sell sponsorships. The program is designed to make the roads safer for everyone by utilizing TV news stations and community outreach to heighten the awareness of distracted driving.
The original branding was a more light hearted look that utilized an illustration style. The goal was to rebrand with a look that sets a more serious tone to emphasize the importance of the issue. My role was to design a new logo and tag line, image research for the campaign and create ad sets with various driving distractions to be distributed to stations.

This was a revamp I came up with for the radio promotions team for KOMO and KVI’s Military Appreciation Day at the Washington fairs. I wanted to help the station and community to have a bigger impact in showing support to our military, so I came up with the concept for the public to write postcards we could send to troops instead of taking photos to post to social media done previously.
Countless postcards have been and continue to be sent overseas to troops.

I created these email marketing templates with the intent to have versatile templates that could be used for a wide variety of clients.
I designed this ad suite for KOMO TV and Seattle Refined's homepage takeovers for the Stand Up for the Cure event which was KOMO's first time partnering with the breast cancer awareness event. The client was in need of stock photography for their creative so I was in charge of the research which inspired the overall look of the ads.

I designed this ad suite for Mac & Jack's Brewing Company. The client provided the assets, but was open to the design and copy. The end result is a clean and simple design that I proposed that they were very happy with. The ads clicked through to their Facebook page and have contributed to an increase of engagement.

Ebooks designed for various clients. The creative challenge was to create new designs and templates based off the client’s current website and minimal brand guidance.
A few photos to show how I see the world and get inspired. I love getting out with my camera whenever I can and using my photos as an opportunity to push myself with Photoshop.
Drawing is where everything started for me and it continues to be my favorite outlet and influence on my design work.
